In the duplicity of everyday situations, María Ezquerra risks uniting classical painting with abstract expressionism. Realistic painting is completed with abstract painting, uniting the different techniques. Her illustration studies lead her to tell different stories in her work.
“Because the same situation can have different contexts, an expression, a look that confirms a fact, which can be read in different ways.”
Born in 1975 in Zaragoza (Spain), María attended the Zaragoza art school. Her studies focused on interest in the figure, expression, and movement. A search to show feelings and values.
After studying her in different hyperrealist workshops such as ¨Masters of figuration with Antonio López and JJ Aquerreta¨ and ¨Portrait in nature MEAM¨ she completes her abstract studies at the MOMA, among others.
Her search for the unity of both techniques is reflected in all of her work.
Sculpture forms an increasingly important part in the exercise of art in all its expressions.
As well as all types of objects, where the expression of art can be captured in all its greatness.
